Ministry with Children and Teens

Children's Ministry

On special occasions, the 9am service is particularly shaped to be family-focussed.
We simplify or dramatise the Bible readings, run special activities for children, and have
music that children can relate to.

The Parish has in place a Helper Screening Policy.
You can view details by clicking here.

Family Friendly Services:

All 9am services are family friendly.
On the first Sunday of the month special children's activities are organised for during the service.
Music is lively and contemporary.  From time to time children hear Bible stories through Godly Play,
and integrate what they have heard through craft activity. They present their work to the congregation.

There is a children's corner set up with craft activities and reading books to keep younger children absorbed.

Cuddle bags are provided for toddlers.

The withdrawal room (Holland Room) is set up with a large sound proof window and speaker so parents can
withdraw with their children if they wish, but can still participate in the service.

The whole service is colourfully projected onto the overhead screen, so no need to fumble your way
 through books.
